Our Correction Process

  1. Review: When we receive a potential correction notice, our editor will carefully review the information provided and compare it against the article.
  2. Verification: We will check the facts to determine if an error was made.
  3. Correction: If an error is confirmed:
    • Significant Errors: For substantial factual errors that affect the understanding of the story, we will correct the article and add a clear note (usually at the bottom or top of the article) explaining what was changed and why.
    • Minor Errors: For minor issues like typos or grammatical mistakes that don’t change the meaning of the story, we will typically correct them directly within the article without adding a formal correction note, to keep things clean and readable.
  4. Retractions (Rarely): In very rare cases where an entire story is found to be fundamentally flawed, we may issue a retraction.
